Now, in Jesus’s world there was a profound belief that the Kingdom of Heaven was about to appear at any moment. But the Hebrew people of Jesus’s day were convinced that it would appear the way it always had. God had used or blessed the efforts of His people in military ways to bring about their victories over the pagan cultures around.

The secret to escaping condemnation (and, more importantly, being in the Marriage Supper of the Lamb) is to stay in Christ, walking by the Spirit. If we stick with Jesus and walk with the Holy Spirit, we will, by nature, fulfill that moral standard. Let us spur one another on to that singular mindset and relationship.
